We are ecstatic to announce that de Winter PR received national industry recognition for our creativity and passion at Thursday's UK Fresh PR Awards 2010.

The annual awards, in association with Campaign and Media Week, celebrate results and innovation in PR, and the awards have become one of the most recognised and respected business accolades across the whole of the UK. 
 

The judges highly commended the work we did with local youth community charity, Newlove Warrington. The campaign centered on the launch of a two week long radio broadcast station Newlove FM. With such a huge (and massively appreciated) help from the regional community, businesses, and volunteers, we managed to reach over four million people through media coverage over just two weeks. Celebrities and politicians interviewed on the station included Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Calum Best, Ricky Tomlinson and many more.

Judges were also impressed by the team's coverage for the work we did with Adoption Matters Northwest in November. Our ten week campaign to increase public awareness and to change attitudes towards adoption was a resounding success and culminated in a poety competition that took place during National Adoption Week and co-hosted by the poet laureate Terry Fox.
